Curriculum

M.S. in Skin Biology and Dermatological Sciences

The M.S. in Skin Biology and Dermatological Sciences (SBDS) Program is a training process for translational research in skin science and dermatology, which covers basic aspects of skin biology and clinical problems. The curriculum is offered each year over four semesters. The degree offers two paths: non-thesis and thesis.

Hybrid Format

The Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery has been at the forefront of dermatology education for decades – our hybrid degree program is just one example of this. The program is designed for working professionals, with 50% of course credit on campus and 50% online (synchronous and asynchronous). Students attend both on-campus and virtual classes.
