Qualifications

Applicants to the MS in Genomic Medicine Program should be current MS1 students in the traditional MD curriculum at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Admission to the program is a competitive process and is based on the personal statement of interest, review of the previously submitted medical school application, and a personal interview (in some cases). Competitive candidates will have a clearly articulated vision for how they will use genomic medicine training in their future careers, potentially supported by prior relevant research or clinical experience.

After the initial committee review of complete applications, select applicants will be invited for interviews in mid-November.
