Surgical Oncology Fellowship

Jackson Health System / Jackson Memorial Hospital, in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and other institutions, offers a two-year clinical fellowship program in Complex General Surgical Oncology. The aim of the fellowship is to train clinical and academic leaders in the multidisciplinary management of the cancer patient. The surgical oncology fellows benefit greatly from the large referral base and unusually large proportion of locoregionally advanced neoplasia in the catchment area of this Medical Center which includes the southern half of the State of Florida, the Caribbean basin, Central and South America.

Surgical Oncology Breast Fellowship

Jackson Health System / Jackson Memorial Hospital, in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Breast Surgery Section of the Division of Surgical Oncology offers a one to two year surgical fellowship designed to provide in depth multidisciplinary training in the diagnostic evaluation, surgical management, and adjuvant care of breast cancer patients in addition to management of patients with benign breast disorders. In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on participation in clinical and translational research. The goal of the fellowship is to provide the trainee with the independent skills to be a leader in breast care in an academic or community environment.
