The University of Miami Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program offers physical therapists the ability to gain a variety of structured experiences in the outpatient orthopaedic and classroom settings. Residents complete didactic training at the University of Miami, Department of Physical Therapy on the Coral Gables campus. Clinical mentoring takes place within our Uhealth facilities and are led by experienced and board certified orthopaedic specialists. There is no tuition and residents earn a salary with a comprehensive benefits package. Residency graduates will be qualified to sit for the ABPTS orthopaedic clinical specialist exam.
