University of Miami – Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program

The University of Miami, Department of Physical Therapy and Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital have jointly formed the University of Miami – Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital (UM – JRH) Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program. This year long program offers licensed physical therapists the opportunity to gain structured educational and clinical experiences in a variety of neurologic settings, including: acute inpatient, intensive inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics and wheelchair fitting clinic. The academic component of the program is completed in the University of Miami, Department of Physical Therapy on the Coral Gables campus and onsite at Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital and University of Miami hospital. Clinical mentoring takes place at the University of Miami Hospital and Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital.

Our Program accepts two (2) Residents per cohort.
