Miami Pediatric Nephrology Seminar

The Miami Pediatric Nephrology Seminar, founded by José Strauss, MD, in 1974, has a rich legacy of more than 50 years of education and collaboration within the pediatric nephrology community. The Seminar is a continuing medical education (CME) event that provides a core educational curriculum for pediatric nephrologists and trainees, delivered by expert faculty in the field. The Seminar is held in conjunction with the Pediatric Nephrology Research Consortium (PNRC) Spring Meeting, bringing together education, research, and collaboration in pediatric nephrology. Offered in a live hybrid format, the joint meeting welcomes participants and trainees from institutions around the world. A highlight of the Seminar is the Young Investigator’s Showcase, which features poster presentations and oral abstract awards for trainees presenting research across a variety of areas. Faculty and trainees from the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Nephrology; Department of Medicine, Katz Family Division of Nephrology and Hypertension; and Miami Transplant Institute participate in the event as speakers, moderators, and attendees. The Seminar is organized by its Co-Chairs in collaboration with the Executive Seminar and PNRC Planning Committees and the PNRC Board. We look forward to Welcoming Pediatric Nephrology Professionals and Trainees from around the world to connect, learn, collaborate, and advance the field together.
