• Upon completion of the course, attendees will be able to:
  
• Define the various etiologies and physiologic conditions relating to these subjects, select appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  
• Understand that which may occur as a result of the disease process or treatment and indicate appropriate therapy.
  
• Do basic or clinical research focused on pediatric nephrology challenges and will be stimulated by those knowledgeable about research issues and will be informed about support resources.
  
• Identify future research directions and new approaches and technologies that will eventually lead to a better understanding of these conditions and improved treatment prevention strategies. 
  
• Recognize and contact the faculty who will serve as role models for future generations of Pediatric Nephrologists and serve to stimulate interest in this field as a career choice.
