Miami Pediatric Nephrology Seminar

The 51st Miami Pediatric Nephrology Seminar took place in conjunction with the Pediatric Nephrology Research Consortium (PNRC) Spring meeting in Miami, FL from March 19-23, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Miami. This successful first Joint Pediatric Nephrology Meeting and CME event welcomed over 200 registrants, including 60+ trainees, from more than 50 institutions and 22 countries in a live hybrid platform. The Miami Seminar has a rich legacy of providing a core educational curriculum for pediatric nephrologists and trainees delivered by expert faculty in the field. The Young Investigator’s Showcase featured poster presentations and oral abstract awards to trainees participating in a variety of research areas. Several faculty and trainees from the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Nephrology, Department of Medicine, Katz Family Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, and the Miami Transplant Institute participated in the event as speakers, moderators, and attendees- see link to full program and sponsor list. The Seminar was organized by Co-chairs Chryso Katsoufis, MD and Marissa DeFreitas, MD, MS alongside the Executive Seminar and PNRC Planning Committees and PNRC Board.
