Nephrology

Department of Pediatrics

The Division of Pediatric Nephrology continues to excel in our three-pronged mission of patient service, education and research. All members participate in clinical and academic pursuits. The number of patients entering the End Stage Renal Disease program has continued to increase. The Division has seen a record number of renal transplants, as well as multi-visceral organ transplants, all with excellent outcomes. In addition, the Division was successful in its academic activities, including publishing a number of papers in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at many regional, national, and international conferences. Our faculty members are frequently invited to give guest lectures throughout the world. The Division also continues to attract the highest quality of pediatricians into our fellowship training program.
