Division of Spine Surgery

The division offers comprehensive education programs in neurosurgery, spine care, and spinal cord medicine, providing medical students with an exceptional learning experience. Our comprehensive educational programs are designed to hone skills and knowledge and include:

  1. Residency Program: The ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency program provides progressive clinical training.

  2. Fellowship Opportunities: The Department of Neurosurgery offers both a Spine and a Peripheral Nerve Fellowship in advanced techniques in spinal surgery such as minimally invasive, spinal deformity, minimally invasive techniques, trauma, degenerative, and tumors.

  3. Conferences and Events: Students have the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops, and other educational events, allowing them to network and stay current with the latest advancements in spinal surgery, spinal cord injury, and neurosurgery.

  4. Faculty Mentorship: Our dedicated faculty members are renowned experts in their respective fields, providing students with personalized guidance and mentorship throughout their educational journey.
