Family Medicine and Community Health
The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Miami is home to two principle academic programs- the Jackson Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program and the Miller School of Medicine Predoctoral Education Program. They are devoted to training and fostering students interested in Family Medicine and Community Health throughout their clinical education, both in medical school and during their postgraduate education. Our academic office is located in the Miami Transplant Institute, Room 420 (4th floor); our address is 1801 NW 9th Avenue, Miami, FL 33136 (our building is across 9th Avenue from the Ryder Trauma Center; corner of 18th Street and 9th Avenue).
