Medical Alumni Association recognizes alumni for outstanding achievements.
Do you know a classmate, peer or mentor who is a deserving candidate for the Hall of Fame, Anastasia, or Distinguished Alumni Miller School of Medicine alumni awards? Each year, we invite you to participate in the awards process and nominate your candidate by sharing their achievements with us. Please contact us with the nominee’s CV and a reason for nomination.
Hall of Fame Award
Alumni selected for Hall of Fame recognition will be at least ten years post graduation and must have made an outstanding contribution to, or be responsible for, significant advancement in the medical profession, the community or society as a whole as a result of their medical education.
Anastasia Award
The Anastasia Award honors alumni who through the practice of medicine have exemplified the professionalism, humanity and citizenship which brings distinction to themselves, all alumni and the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Distinguished Alumni Award
Alumni selected for the Distinguished Medical Alumni Award will be at least ten years post graduation and must have achieved prominence in one or more of the following areas: notable community or public service achievement; national recognition as a result of their medical career, or as a result of an associated career achievement.
