Global Department CTA Block
Besides the primary function of providing new syringes in exchange for used ones at the IDEA Exchange, we also offer a host of auxiliary harm reduction services to reduce the spread of HIV, Hepatitis C, and other blood-borne diseases, available through our fixed site and our mobile unit.
On-site Clinics
Clinic hours are held at the fixed site with logistical support from IDEA staff members and medical assistance from IDEA clinicians and medical students.
Walk-ins are welcome! All clinic appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

Community Engagement Team
- Facilitated by social workers and peer service navigators, the Community Engagement Team supports patients and facilitates access to available resources. We partner with many community stakeholders who assist with drug rehabilitation and treatment from addictive drugs and are always interested in hearing more about additional services to best support our patients.
- Additional services include:
- Linkage to treatment, if requested, for substance use disorder
- Onsite medication management
- Facilitated service navigation for health insurance, health care, housing, additional social services, and more!
