Biography: Dr. Ranjini Valiathan graduated from the Manipal Academy Higher Education, India with a master’s degree in Medical Microbiology and the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education, Chandigarh, India with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Her doctoral and postdoctoral training has prepared her with the knowledge and skills to design, investigate, and implement new ideas in laboratory testing and biomarker discovery. She has fifteen years of experience in collaborating with various clinical research studies, particularly in the areas of biomarker analysis (Multiplex immunoassays/ ELISA), flow cytometry, tissue culture, molecular assays as well as various microbiological tests. Dr. Valiathan is also a licensed medical technologist with extensive knowledge in the analysis and interpretation of various laboratory techniques to provide accurate and timely reports.
