In 2020, the Florida Department of Health recognized the growing challenges young people face in the state, along with the barriers preventing them from accessing care. To address this, they envisioned a centralized hub where providers and parents of children and adolescents could easily find and connect with available services. The DOH then partnered with universities statewide, including the University of Miami, to bring this vision to life.

The University of Miami’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Hub (BHH) serves as a key resource and educational center for local providers, helping families connect with existing community pediatric resources.
