Research Focus

The Ye Lab develops and applies biostatistical and bioinformatic methods to address important questions in cancer and other areas of biomedical research. Our work includes clinical trial design methods, predictive and prognostic modeling, statistical genomics, biomarker analysis, and the analysis of real-world, clinical, and multi-omics data.

We integrate clinical, genomic, molecular, and epidemiologic data to study disease risk, heterogeneity, treatment response, prognosis, and patient outcomes. Cancer research is a major focus of the lab, including research in precision oncology, treatment outcomes, molecular biomarkers, and immunotherapy. Our interests also extend to developing and adapting biostatistical/bioinformatic methods for metabolic, cardiovascular, and neurological research, as well as other areas of clinical and translational science.

Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the lab works at the intersection of statistics, bioinformatics, and clinical research to develop rigorous methods and generate findings that can improve study design, disease understanding, and patient care.
