Research Focus

Our research centers on identifying and intervening in the factors contributing to neurogenic obesity and related complications following spinal cord injury. Specifically, our research utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to study energy metabolism, appetite regulation, eating behaviors, and cardiometabolic health in persons with spinal cord injury.
