The M.S. in public health is a degree designed for students who wish to prepare for further study at the doctoral level or to prepare for research or technical positions in government, industry, academia or private institutions.

Students learn the core disciplines of public health with an additional emphasis on advanced research methods and quantitative analysis skills. They select electives from five divisions, allowing the flexibility to focus on one or more areas depending on academic and professional goals. The program culminates with a required thesis.
