Yunze Yang is an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology. He received his PhD in electrical engineering at Arizona State University. After that, he worked at Mayo Clinic Arizona as a Research Fellow in proton therapy, focusing on the high LET of protons and related patient outcomes. He finished his residency in Medical Physics at the University of Miami. His research interests include 1) methodology development in data mining and patient outcome modeling in SGRT, SRS, brachytherapy and LET-effect on proton radiation therapy; 2) development of novel dosimeters using optical/chemical sensing; 3) Application of artificial intelligence in Radiation Oncology.
