The Pediatric Radiology Section faculty play a crucial role in the education of residents. In addition to daily view-box learning sessions, we hold weekly interesting case conferences at least once a week. We also provide 5 weeks of didactic sessions throughout the academic year.
Guest lecturers from neighboring pediatric hospitals are invited to provide special lecture sessions. We mentor to the residents, assisting with their research projects required for graduation. Furthermore, our section actively participates in multiple interdisciplinary conferences, including tumor board, GI, GU and surgical conferences. Finally, our faculty participates actively in medical student teaching and are directly involved in the current overhaul of the medical student curriculum.
