Nuclear Medicine

The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging is very actively involved and plays a key role in the teaching, training and education of Nuclear Medicine Residents/Fellows and Radiology Residents.

There are didactic lectures in physics and basic science, clinical nuclear medicine covering the entire spectrum of conventional general, hybrid SPECT/CT and PET/CT, advanced molecular imaging and radiopharmaceutical therapies. In addition to daily attending-resident readout sessions, there is a weekly interesting case conference, grand rounds, journal club and participation in multi-disciplinary tumor boards. We provide mentorship for the residents, review sessions in preparation for the board exams, supervision of their research projects and other educational activities as required by their curriculum. Our Faculty actively participates in medical student education and graduate school teaching of bioengineering and physics students.
