The Neuroradiology Section participates in numerous weekly interdisciplinary conferences and tumor boards with clinical and surgical specialists. The section is involved in 5 weeks of didactic lectures for residents and fellows during the academic year, with special lecturers invited from neighboring hospitals as well. Additionally, the section gives lectures to medical students of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Clinical programs of the highest quality are established at the University of Miami School of Medicine in acute stroke, neuro-ophthalmology (Bascom Palmer Eye Institute rates #1 in the country), skull base neoplasms, pediatric neuroradiology, aneurysms and AVM’s, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease.
