The Section is involved in a large number of multidisciplinary research projects with NIH and other funding sources.
Specific areas of interest include stem cell therapies in cardiac and pulmonary disease, anatomic substrates in atrial fibrillation, COVID-19 related cardiac disease, and Hispanic/Latino cardiac health.
