Thank you for your interest in our newsletter, where we highlight department news and celebrate our successes.
We take pride in our academic activities, so we enumerate our peer-reviewed article publications, our oral presentations, and our competitive extramural grant winners. We also list talks from our faculty and resident research retreats, as well as visiting professors. In addition, we record when our members receive honors and aggregate excerpts from other publications that note our members’ accomplishments. Lastly, we list new department hires and include photos from social occasions, such as residents’ graduations, fundraising events, and holiday celebrations.
April 2022 Newsletter
In our April 2022 newsletter, we look back at last year’s successes, despite ongoing COVID-related challenges, as well as reflect on heart-felt losses. New technology was thoughtfully embraced and applied. Our trainees and faculty assumed greater roles nationally; the impact of our research increased. Our clinic was honored with the Press Ganey Pinnacle of Excellence award, which recognizes extraordinary achievement in patient experience. It was the third year in a row that we win this prestigious award and as always our participation in the annual American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting was robust.
