The Eastern-Atlantic Student Research Forum (ESRF) is an international symposium held at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine (UMMSM) in Miami, Florida. Each year, ESRF selects medical, graduate, M.D./Ph.D. students, and resident physicians from the United States, Canada, Europe, Central and South Americas to present original basic science and clinical research in multiple biomedical fields. In addition to formal presentations, the forum includes the informal exchange of scientific ideas among students and faculty preceptors, the encouragement of student-initiated research, and the professional development of future leaders in biomedical research.
We are excited to announce that the Miller School of Medicine will host the 53rd medical/graduate student Eastern-Atlantic Research Forum (ESRF) from Thursday, February 18th – Friday, February 19th, 2027. For all ESRF attendees, please note that there is a registration form and fee of $100. A limited amount of travel support awards ranging from $250-500 are also available and require a separate application. We are also hosting an Abstract Book Cover Art competition and encourage you to submit your artwork for consideration.
