MCAT Preparation Program

The MCAT Preparation Program is fully remote and provides pre-medical students with the opportunity for MCAT preparation, mentorship and support in preparing for medical school applications and interviews. The program will begin on June 1, 2026 - July 17, 2026.

This program is fully remote.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to apply, applicants must meet the following requirements:
• U.S. citizen or eligible residency or citizenship status to qualify for federal financial aid.
• College junior, senior, master’s student, or recent college graduate (within the last two years).
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate science or pre-med coursework (must have taken Organic Chemistry).
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.2.
• Must take the MCAT the Fall of 2026 or Spring 2027.

**NOTE: Daily access to a laptop and WIFI will be required for the duration of the program.

How to Apply
Only COMPLETE applications will be reviewed. ALL supporting documents must be submitted by the application deadline (no exceptions). Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
- Write a Personal Statement (maximum of 400 words) explaining why you wish to participate in the MCAT Preparation Program. Be sure to highlight your personal and professional goals and personal attributes or experiences that would be deemed desirable for a career in medicine.

- Current Resume/CV
- Copy of government issued photo ID or university student ID card.
- (2) Letters of Recommendation
IMPORTANT: Letters of recommendation should be submitted on an official letterhead and at least one letter must come from a science professor. All letters of recommendation MUST be emailed by the recommender directly to the Office of the Assistant Dean for Community Engagement at communityengagement@med.miami.edu. The deadline for submitting letters is Friday, February 20, 2026.
