A lot of neurosensory conditions span gaps, and we’re the lab that can give attention to those issues because we have the ability to be broad, to go from otolaryngology to neurology to physical therapy and beyond.
The ANDRTL Approach
The ANDRTL takes a rapidly translatable approach to research and treatment, spanning basic bench science, clinical trials, device development and therapeutic innovation.
It was founded on Dr. Hoffer’s groundbreaking work in traumatic brain injury (TBI), including studies on blast injuries, blunt force trauma and toxin exposures.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
The laboratory brings together experts in:
- Otolaryngology
- Audiology
- Neurology
- Neuropsychology
- Biomedical engineering
- Physical therapy
