To identify the impact of hearing loss and parenting behaviors on children’s cognitive, behavioral and social/emotional development.

1. Evaluation of social, emotional, behavioral and cognitive functioning in children with hearing loss
2. Development of context specific measures to assess patient reported outcomes (i.e., quality of
   life, parenting stress) for families and children with hearing loss
3. Identification of family and parenting behaviors that impact pediatric hearing loss outcomes
4. Development of interventions to improve language and behavioral outcomes in families of
