Research Focus
Our laboratory is located in the Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute. We are primarily focused on translational research of stem cells and stem cell products in wound healing, burn injury, inherited dermatoses as well as skin and systemic inflammatory disorders.
We are currently examining the effect of mesenchymal stem cell derived extracellular vesicles in burn injury. These experiments span both preclinical and clinical studies. We are also examining the effect of extracellular vesicles in the graft vs host disease and in systemic inflammatory response.
