Biography
Dr. Zahilly Salinas received her Bachelors of Health Science from University of Miami in 2004 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Miller School of Medicine in 2010. Her clinical practice has been primarily in orthopedics, neurology and vestibular rehabilitation in outpatient care at the Miami Department of Veterans Affairs and UHealth clinics. She has been a faculty member at the Department of Physical Therapy since 2019 teaching in the entry-level DPT program as well as in the UM/JRH Neurologic Residency Program. She also serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Education.
Dr. Salinas also serves as the Secretary for the Florida Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors and has served in regional and state professional leadership roles in physical therapy.
