I am a newly appointed Professor in the Department of Public Health and Sciences at the University of Miami. I also serve as the Director of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resources (BSSR) for the NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (Sylvester). As Director of BBSR, I work with my team to provide Sylvester cancer researchers with contemporary biostatistics, bioinformatics, and computational expertise in support of clinical trials and laboratory and population-based cancer research studies. Under my guidance, we are expanding personnel and expertise to provide a broader and deeper level of service, including study design, data analysis and interpretation, and education in quantitative science methods and application tools.
