Biography
Dr. Yamilé Blain, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami. With a focus on body imaging and cancer imaging, Dr. Blain completed a fellowship in Cancer Imaging at the University of Miami-Jackson Health Systems in 2020 and a Body Imaging Fellowship there in 2020. She has extensive international experience, having worked as a Chief Resident in Haiti and participated in clinical rotations at institutions such as Columbia University Medical Center and the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Blain is actively involved in teaching, research, and service, serving as a member of the UM Medical School Education Committee and leading the UM Medical Student Radiology Interest Group. She has published in prominent medical journals and is passionate about global health and outreach initiatives. -
