Biography
Dr. Xiaoqiong Wang is an academic hematopathologist at the University of Miami, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Jackson Health System. She earned her M.D. degree in a 7-year special medical program at Zhejiang University School of Medicine in China, and finished her joint Ph.D. training in Oncology at Zhejiang University School of Medicine and City of Hope National Medical Center. She completed her AP/CP residency training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, followed by 2-year advanced hematopathology fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is passionate about providing excellent patient care and education, and advancing the understanding of hematolymphoid malignancies. -

Her research interests are focused on refining clinically significant subgroups of hematolymphoid neoplasms and uncovering underlying genetic alterations that are implicated in disease transformation and clinical course. -
