Dr. Wafa Khadraoui is a gynecologic oncologist dedicated to providing high-quality care for women with complex gynecologic malignancies and advancing patient-centered cancer research. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from Johns Hopkins University and received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean.
Dr. Khadraoui completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University/Bridgeport Hospital, where she served as Education Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at The Ohio State University. During fellowship, she pursued a translational research project focused on exosomal biomarkers for the early detection of endometrial cancer.
In addition to her translational work, Dr. Khadraoui has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications examining barriers to clinical trial participation, including disparities in enrollment and the readability of clinical trial consent documents. Her research interests center on improving access to clinical trials, enhancing patient understanding of cancer research, and developing biomarker-driven strategies to improve outcomes for women with gynecologic cancers. She is committed to delivering equitable, compassionate care and to expanding access to high-quality cancer treatment and clinical research for all women.
