Dr. Guerrero-Gorman was born and raised in Miami, FL. She has a passion for serving the women in the community she grew up in. She attended Florida State University and earned a BS in Biological Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She received her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, PR. She completed her residency training at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. She is also board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG).
She is passionate about resident and medical student education with the University of Miami and Jackson Health System. She is currently the Director of Resident Wellness in the Jackson/University of Miami Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
