Born and raised in El Salvador, I earned my medical degree in Costa Rica before completing my Pediatric Residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Following residency, I remained at Driscoll for three years, serving as Chief Resident and practicing as a general pediatrician at Tots and Teens Pediatrics, Driscoll Urgent Care, while also actively participating in clinical research and quality improvement.
In the summer of 2022, my family relocated to Miami as my husband began his fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. I subsequently worked at Pediatric Associates before pursuing fellowship training in Sleep Medicine, which I completed in July 2025.
That same summer, we joyfully welcomed our baby girl into our lives. Becoming a mother has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. It has strengthened my commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care and reinforced my dedication to caring for children and supporting families through every stage of development.
