Biography
Dr. Tricia Prince is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Miami. She is currently the Medical Director for the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic and the Course Director for medical students in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Prior to starting medical school, she completed a Master’s of Science with a concentration in Molecular Biology from the College of Science and Mathematics at Montclair State University in 2011. She earned her Osteopathic medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2015.
Upon completion of medical school, she completed both her residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami. She currently provides outpatient musculoskeletal care to patients at the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital and UHealth-Kendall. Dr. Prince also combines her clinical time with providing both clinical and didactic education to both residents and medical students. In addition, Dr. Prince also spends time mentoring medical students and residents. -

Teaching Interests
Dr. Prince’s teaching interests lie in the realm of musculoskeletal, sports and regenerative medicine in the specialty of PM&R. She serves as the course director for the second year PM&R residents’ outpatient musculoskeletal rotation. Working with medical students and residents and teaching them about rehabilitation medicine is of particular interest because many students do not get exposed to PM&R in medical school and do not understand what the specialty entails. Dr. Prince also teaches Osteopathic Manipulation to the residents and medical students that rotate with her. -
Research Interests
Dr. Prince’s clinical and research interests include Osteopathic Manipulation and how it can be utilized to aid in the recovery from musculoskeletal injuries. She is also working on research regarding transgender athletes and fair competition. -
