I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the section of Classical Hematology based at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. I earned my medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I completed residency in Internal Medicine, followed by his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Health System in Miami, FL. My research mainly involves cancer-associated thrombosis and chemotherapy-associated thrombocytopenia with a particular focus on the intersection between cancer, coagulation, and the immune system. I have a particular clinical interest in autoimmune blood conditions such as ITP, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, immune TTP, and cold agglutinin disease.
