Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the Division of Hematology. I am a junior clinical investigator, and an active member of our Phase 1 and Cancer Epigenetics Programs at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC). My career goal is to become a leading clinical investigator in myeloid neoplasms, and thus, my clinical research is focused on advancing therapy in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). These diseases are associated with significant morbidity and mortality, and novel therapies are urgently needed. -

Research Interests
My clinical research interests are in novel therapies for AML, MDS, MPN, and ALL, largely through phase I/II clinical research. I also have a particular interest in LSD1 inhibition in these malignancies, and am PI on multiple investigator-initiated trials. -
