Dr. Vaghaiwalla is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon with specialty training in the management of adult and pediatric endocrine disorders, which includes benign and cancerous disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas and intestine. Dr. Vaghaiwalla completed general surgery residency at the University of Miami and subsequently completed endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She offers scarless approaches to thyroid and parathyroid surgery using the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA). Dr. Vaghaiwalla is an active member in professional societies, including the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, and American College of Surgeons. She has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of endocrine and surgery.
