Steven Weiss, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Yeshiva University in 1984. Dr. Weiss completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in 1985 and his residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in 1987, followed by a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine in 1990.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Oncology, Dr. Weiss has extensive clinical expertise in a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions. His practice encompasses benign hematology, leukemias such as hairy cell leukemia, lymphomas including CLL/SLL, multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders, as well as solid tumors.
