Dr. Steven Weiss is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Yeshiva University in 1984. Dr. Weiss completed his internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in 1985 and his residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in 1987. He went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Yale University School of Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Weiss is board certified in internal medicine and oncology. His clinical expertise spans a broad range of hematologic and oncologic conditions, including benign hematology, leukemias such as hairy cell leukemia, lymphomas including CLL/SLL, multiple myeloma and related blood cancers, as well as solid tumors.
