Biography
Dr. Sony Issac is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurorehabilitation in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Christine E Lynn Rehabilitation Center at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida.
She completed both her Internal Medicine internship and PM&R Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in NY where she served as Chief Resident. She subsequently pursued a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. Dr. Issac is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as Brain Injury Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She currently provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care with a focus on traumatic brain injury, stroke, and polytrauma. Her clinical and research interests include a patient centered approach to optimizing function and quality of life after injury. -
