Research Interests
My main research interests are the identification of genetic factors that contribute to the increased susceptibility for multiple sclerosis (MS) in Hispanic patients and to characterize the disease process in this patient subpopulation. To continue participating actively in clinical trials dedicated to the development of new therapies for the more effective management of MS. In addition, I would like to continue my involvement in the search of possible retinal imaging biomarkers for tracking disease progression in MS. -

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate a non-inferior pharmacokinetic profile of a new, less frequent maintenance dosing regimen of ofatumumab compared to the current maintenance dosing regimen and evaluate its safety and tolerability in participants with relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS). The study is intended to support regulatory approval of the new ofatumumab dosing regimen.
