Dr. Chaudhuri joined the faculty at the University of Miami in 2024. She completed her internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship in New York City, at Columbia-New York Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, respectively. She had previously obtained her Masters in Public Health while in medical school in Texas. Dr. Chaudhuri moved to Miami after serving as an assistant professor at Columbia University Medical Center, where she worked at its status-neutral comprehensive health program.
Dr. Chaudhuri’s primary clinical and research interests revolve around HIV care and prevention among various populations—with a focus on improving outcomes and retention, as well as the implementation of novel therapies such as long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy. Dr. Chaudhuri is involved in linkage to care at the University of Miami’s Rapid program at the Converge clinic. Additionally, she serves as a core faculty member in the infectious diseases fellowship program.
