Dr. Ruy Andrade Louzada Neto is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has extensive experience in intracellular signaling and redox biology. His current research focuses on how NADPH oxidases, particularly DUOX1 and DUOX2, regulate pancreatic adaptation to stress, with the goal of understanding how altered redox balance contributes to diabetes and pancreatic cancer.
