Dr. Rosa Ribon is a board-certified family medicine physician with over a decade of experience in providing comprehensive primary care. She earned her medical degree from Metropolitan University in Barranquilla, Colombia, in 2000. Following her graduation, Dr. Ribon completed her residency in Family Medicine at Bella Vista Hospital, affiliated with the University of Ponce School of Medicine.
In 2012, Dr. Ribon received her medical license in Florida and soon after joined the University of Miami Health System in 2013. Her dedication to patient care and medical education led to her appointment as the medical director of the UHealth at Boca Raton clinic in 2015.
Dr. Ribon was recognized for her excellence in teaching, having been awarded the prestigious George Paff Teaching Award in 2018 for her outstanding contributions as a family medicine preceptor in the M.D./M.P.H. program.
In addition to her work in family medicine, Dr. Ribon collaborates closely with Sylvester Cancer oncologists to provide primary care for their patients with non-cancer comorbidities during and following oncology treatments, ensuring a holistic and personal approach to patient health.
