Roberto Cano, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1980. Dr. Cano completed his internship in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in 1981, followed by residency training in internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Elmhurst) in 1983. He then pursued fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1988 and 1989.
Dr. Cano specializes in benign hematology and medical oncology, with clinical and research interests focused on the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic disorders.
