I am a cognitive neuroscientist working in the field ofmotor control and mechanisms of body representation in healthyindividuals and in individuals with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). I receivedmy PhD in 2017 at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova (Italy).During my doctorate program I investigated how aspects of motorcontrol (e.g., sensory attenuation and agency) are influenced by bothretrospective (sensory prediction) and prospective (action selection)mechanisms. Currently I study changes in multisensory integrationand body representation following SCI with and without neuropathicpain. I investigate both behavioral and brain mechanisms using EEG,bodily illusions and tDCS.
