Dr. Stoyanova main focus is on developing imaging analysis techniques in translational cancer research, including early detection, diagnosis, and treatment. Also, developing multiparametric MRI image processing tools to define habitats of the prostate that have an increased risk of harboring cancer. These habitats can be used as targets for prostate biopsies or focal therapy. Moreover, the developing analytical and deep learning approaches for mining and interpretation “big data” generated by high-throughput approaches such as genomics, metabolomics, digital pathology and radiomics.
