Dr. Pedro Covas is a highly skilled imaging cardiologist with specialized expertise in echocardiography and cardiac CT. He earned his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and went on to complete his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship at the George Washington University, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow in his final year. Dr. Covas further honed his skills during his cardiac imaging fellowship at Baylor Scott & White – The Heart Hospital Plano.
Dr. Covas' clinical and research focus lies in utilizing advanced imaging techniques to guide structural heart procedures and exploring the application of artificial intelligence in cardiovascular imaging.
