Biography
Dr. Ozlem Pala is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, specializing in rheumatology. She earned her medical degree from Ege University in Turkiye, followed by advanced training in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Englewood Program and a rheumatology fellowship at Albany Medical Center. Board-certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Pala further enhanced her expertise by completing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Miami in 2022.
Dr. Pala is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology and the Arthritis Foundation. She was recently nominated to serve on the Committee on Global Engagement for the American College of Rheumatology, where she will help develop strategic initiatives to foster collaboration between the ACR and its international members. Dr. Pala is widely recognized for her excellence in patient care, her contributions to medical education, and her commitment to advancing rheumatology through innovative research. -
