Dr. Neal Viradia, M.D., M.P.H, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Viradia obtained his medical degree and master's in public health at the University of North Carolina. After medical school, he had diverse post graduate training. He completed his intern year at Tulane in New Orleans. Followed by a year at NYU in New York, he completed his residency and fellowship at Duke University back in his home state of North Carolina. After graduating he decided to move across the country but, overshot and ended up in Hawaii. He worked in a busy premier private practice in Honolulu before joining us at the University of Miami.
Dr. Viradia prides himself on teaching and won the Resident Teaching award in 2022. He is involved in multiple residency committees and is a strong resident advocate. Under his mentorship, University of Miami residents and students have excelled in their practice of Interventional Radiology and have submitted many research projects for publication.
Dr. Viradia performs the gamut of Interventional Radiology Procedures. His clinical interests are centered around uterine fibroid embolization, geniculate artery embolization/other MSK procedures, thermal ablation of solid tumors, chemo and radioembolization of liver tumors, and performing complex biopsies.
